I share that to give you context that I know we are busy guys and gals....I was on a demo with one of my guys and he shared his screen. I see he has 25,000 unread fugging emails in his inbox. I am like WTF....HTF do you know what's what....

Should I say something? He made he quota BTW...

Once I learned how to let go of BS nuances and micro managing, my life got easier and less stressful. Good thing there is quota, because it sounds like that matters most? If he's missing shit that is equally as important as quota, then calmly let him know you have observations; then ask him if he'd like you to share those. Nobody in their right mind will say no.....unless they're psychos with 25K unread emails in their Outlook. LOL.

JFC though. 25K unread emails would make me furious, and I'd have to process it for a day or two.

Is it costing you or the company anything to have that many emails?

If so, tell him and trust him to listen.

If not, fuck it. Half of em are probably porn anyway.

As a rep I was retentive about emails and follow-ups so I can't imagine what's with him.

He's pretty good with follow-up but geebus....that is insane. Maybe it's a lot of non-work emails feeding into Outlook.

I might make a joke of it "Ha, how many emails are in your Outlook?"

We use Teams a lot but email is still used for external customers.

You are correct: Teams is essential for communicating internally .

My inbox is made up of external customer emails and Google calendar reminders for meetings and zoom calls. Almost everything is Slack now

Nah don't tell sales tards what to do unless they aren't selling.

My guess is it is probably spam. I usually right click and hit read all on my email.
