I'm not sure how or why, but I got added to the Frederick's of Hollywood catalog mailing list when I was about 11. I had to make sure to check the mail before my parents so they didn't hide it from me.

Common, there was no internet and I grew up in small town nebraska. I got the first catalog, and it was the first time I'd heard of FoH.
I also started getting pre-approved credit card applications at the same time, but my paper route income was only $11 dollars per week so I doubt the citibank would have honored that pre-approval.
