I didn't realize our birthdays were so close together. The thing that always struck me about Denny was that he was so real and transparent. What you saw is exactly what you got. Generous beyond words and larger than life just to make people happy.

When he would invite people to stop by on their way through Scottsbluff he really meant it and you could count on having a great time. Miss you old friend.
