Happy Father’s Day

Restored my grandpa’s pocketknife for my dad. He committed suicide in 1977–depression and bad years on the farm. My dad found him. Over the past 10 years or so the family has started to talk about him—was a good man, just mentally sick with depression. Haven’t seen my dad cry that hard in a long time when I gave it to him. It will be displayed in their new house by my grandpa’s military flag. I was pretty proud of this gift that I made this year.
