Ahh. I didn't sense the sarcasm.
Nothing we haven't discussed already but Tim was talking with DB and Ravi this morning that 3-4 of these portal guys will be one semester guys.
So they will just be here for spring ball or not coming until fall? Either way sounds not very productive.
Basically they are in to try out for the 105 to create competition and if they don’t cut it they will go out to the portal again. It’s like the NFL before roster cuts.
So free agency
We need CBs for instance but we have limited space now so we bring in a few more for the spring let them fight it out keep the best cut the rest.
Seems to be moving more and more to the NFL model but with the twist of having to go to school. So what should be the most important thing - getting an education will probably be last thing on the list.
