It said Coverage Snaps, so I have to assume that refers to allowing 1 reception every 12 passing attempts for a QB. The highest average Passing Attempts per game last year was Kyle McCord at 45.5, so that would be allowing less than 4 receptions a game. I can't seem to find a similar stat for Husker Players for last year.
for context, this is the season long coverage snap per reception at Nebraska last season for DBs - right most column

12 per reception would be the best for any CB on our team last year that played more than 27 snaps

I generally don't like the 3&4&5 school guys. But on the bright side.....

Rhule will need guys who can adjust to a new environment quickly and this guy has had a lot of practice doing just that.

Seriously, I've stated in the past that once the season ended the only important thing was shaping the staff and roster. We've mostly reached the end of that phase and now we are on to team building. The transfer portal era has created a situation where you need to rebuild your team every year. Cohesiveness , unity, brotherhood. Those aspects of team. Whoever gets good at a quick turnaround team building exercise will be successful. Our biggest challenge now is forming a team with all of these loose parts and strange ingredients.

Rated 94 out of high school, but just 85 now.

He was apart of A&M's big money recruiting class at the onset of NIL. Things went to hell for the Aggies that season because all those freshmen walked in with $50,000 gold chains and expensive cars, while a lot of their 3rd and 4th year players weren't receiving any NIL compensation.

It was a monumental miscalculation by the Aggies boosters.

Someone mentioned that former RRS intern/legend Matt Reynoldson covered Arizona football this season. I tagged him in the thread and these were his responses (the top message is from him as well) 😬😬

Given how many guys we are taking from the portal and how many are on the roster, I wonder what kind of deals we're actually offering these guys. Are they really all scholarship guys (especially someone like Conn)? Really seems like we're setting up for open competition/mass culling in the spring and summer. Seems like we also may be taking advantage of the gap in rules in terms of spring/summer roster size. Without the 90 preseason NFL limit, logic to taking a bunch of guys, and then trimming the fat down to the 105 later.
