Greg Sharpe Update 12/22

When he first announced that he had pancreatic cancer, I didn't think he would make it through announcing the season. I think he missed maybe 2 games? Incredible drive to keep doing the job he loves. I just hope he can be comfortable and surrounded by family and friends as time goes on.

Pancreatic cancer is the worst. I watched my great uncle die from it and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

I'm gonna miss Greg. If there is one man who is a diehard Husker fan, it's Greg. I hope Rhule does something nice for him behind the scenes too, he isn't going to make it much longer. Fuck cancer, GBR. Hopefully Greg can make it to the spring game even if he can't call all of it.
If he makes it to the spring game it would be kind of fucked to have him on a spring game call. Especially if he is on comfort care and they are just trying to minimize pain.

At the spring game they probably just need to name to media area in the booth after him .. if it’s not named after someone else? If he’s alive try to have him in a box if he feels ok that day.
