I don't recall exact timeline, but she might have been divorced or separated during that time. But allegedly she was hanging around the team, especially Klay Thompson.

Maybe you’re joking but I highly doubt this. She’s had like one total year as an assistant and several others where she left before the season was over?

Her coaching career has been so insignificant it’s not even mentioned on her Wikipedia page. There’s no way she thought she was a legit candidate to replace Cook.

There's an article in the Journal Star today that stated how she notified John Cook she was leaving before the semi national game. I guess she wanted to maximize her earnings as a player while she still can in the new VB League and coaching got in the way of that.
