Anyone play the Titleist 718 AP3? I've had my set of Clevelands for 8 years now, thinking about a new set up irons, and saw these online selling used for a nice price. @HuskerDocCo @lee_carvallo_12

Sign Up Now!After football season I want to go get fitted and hit a bunch of irons and see what I like. I've played some rink a dink Cleveland CG16s for 8 years now, they've been good to me. I Dropped my handicap to a 5 this year, basically shooting 75-77 on average, figured I'd like to see how getting fitted and a better set of irons would help me.They feel super nice. I’m partial to the T-200s, but I’ve been playing Callaway X-16 pros since 2005/6ish. Be sure to get them fitted if possible. Have you been able to hit them?

Hell yeah, nice! Getting fitted should help shave a few more off. That’s some damn good golf already though. There’s a guy that golfs at the course I work at that has every club fitted to be a 7-iron length. His thinking is that it’s the same swing every time and it works for him. After football season I want to go get fitted and hit a bunch of irons and see what I like. I was an 11 at the start of the year and was hozzling the fuck out of the ball and was ready to quit. Finally got some help on why I did, figured it out what and got it fixed.AP3's are sexy.
Also, congrats on getting your handicap down. That shit ain't easy.
Also, also, super congrats on getting your handicap down and not instantly buying blades. Lol
I play the 718 AP2’s and like them. No experience with the 3’s, but think they are less clunky than the 1’s and more forgiving than the 2’s. More of a high single digit type of market iron. They look real solid.Anyone play the Titleist 718 AP3? i've used arccos for over 2 years now and i love it. i have the sensors that screw into the grips, but next time i regrip my clubs i am getting the built in models.egolfing PB members, anyone use a smart caddie/sensor? likes/dislikes? I bought an arccos caddie.

the insights it gives you on your true distance on every club is the most valuable for me. like most golfers, i thought i hit it further than i actually do because i used to calculate by "if i hit this 7 iron exactly perfect, i can hit it this far.." now, i have the data that shows me that on average, i hit a 7 iron an exact distance. my GIR's have went way up and when i miss a green it's by a lot less.
also, the caddie function is really solid. when you have enough data in the system it starts recommending not only what club to hit, but recommended strategy on a hole that gives you the odds of making the best score. cool stuff.
it keeps getting better and better with enhancements as well. customer support from arccos is also really solid.
hope this helps.
it's legit. i'll try to share some screen shots of my dashboard. That is wild. Always thought those things were super gimmicky tbh.
Awesome, I'm glad to hear this. I bought the sensors that screw into the grips. Do you have to have your phone in your pocket for it to register? Or if I have an apple watch will that work?i've used arccos for over 2 years now and i love it. i have the sensors that screw into the grips, but next time i regrip my clubs i am getting the built in models.

You either have to have your phone in your pocket or buy the arccos link device, which I highly recommend.Awesome, I'm glad to hear this. I bought the sensors that screw into the grips. Do you have to have your phone in your pocket for it to register? Or if I have an apple watch will that work?
