Like someone else said, we should have enough knowledge on staff to vet whether he's worthy of playing in the B1G.

From the beginning Rhule said we would recruit players that might not be recruited by others. This is the point where we either trust Rhule’s evals and see how it plays out or start complaining.

Can't explain the Texas part, but his list of offers on Rivals is just fine.

Probably once Rhule got involved, the Texas schools backed off out of respect and futility.

Normally I’m right there with ya. I think it’s a good question. I will say though, it’s possible it’s different because it’s a pretty early commitment.

Typically the guys I notice like that (and have the same concerns), we have gotten in the fall of that signing year. Senior film is already out and there still aren’t offers from the in state schools. Big red flag for me. In this scenario i think it’s possible we just identified him and showed more interest and got him. Time and tape always tell the tale.
