After 9.5 hr drive we made it to Liberal, KS (oh, the irony) for a decent supper and Holiday Inn bed. 9 hour drive to get granddaughter hugs tomorrow in Austin.

83 from Oberlin to Liberal is a nice stretch of highway, fwiw.

Just picked up my heating pads from Walgreens with my AARP card. The one on 180th and Q had two pallets left.

Just tested negative for COVID a few hours ago, and I'm rocking Tamiflu, Mucinex and Advil Cold-n-Sinus. All I can do now is hope the Angel of Mercy takes me in my sleep tonight. I will my new tPB hat to @Elizabeth Reed if that turns out to be prophecy.

If your ailment is Influenza A or B, the Tamiflu will knock it out in a jiffy. Shit is magical. I was at my brother's house for Christmas a few years ago in Nashville fully vaxed against the flu and of course got it. Tamiflu had me drinking margaritas in 2 days. Highly recommended.

Funny story about the urgent care I went to for my influenza diagnosis and prescription for Tamiflu. The receptionists asks for my medical insurance card and driver's license, looks at it a moment and says you've got a Nebraska sweatshirt on, a California driver's license and you're in Franklin, TN. You've got some splainin' to do. We all laughed.

In response to @HuskerDocCo original question, I eat 2 oranges and an apple everyday. If nothing else, it makes your daily trip to the bathroom throne pretty effortless.

The aching bones made me think of Roz (RIP), but I had the same symptoms PLUS massive head congestion. That's what led me to Tamiflu - get you some, amigo. It does help. I'm still feeling poorly, but definitely on the mend.
