To the surprise of literally no one @Poor_and_Stupid is not feeling very optimistic for the future. I find myself agreeing with the only person on the board that’s poorer than me. @What1992 is confident we are going to flop once again with this hire. I concur with his assessment.

Someone give me some reasons I should be excited for Matt Rhule (or any Big 12 coach) if he is indeed the guy. I see 2 good seasons at Temple and 1 good season at Baylor. (To be fair that’s 3 times as many good seasons as our last corch.) Baylor’s last 3 head coaches have all had success. 3 of our last 4 have all sucked total donkey dick.

What kind of offense will be brought to the table? I really don’t know shit about the guy or his mindset. I’m of the belief that we need to get back to a ball control offense with a strong running game. Would Rhule “run the damn bawl?” Gundy sure as hell won’t.

None of the corches being mentioned recently make the blood rush to my flaccid cock. Someone give me a little blue pill.

In 2021 they had 620 runs versus 448 pass attempts and in 2020 508 runs versus 341 pass attempts. Even for the remaining old fashioned Nebraska Fans that much running the ball should make them happy.

Rhule believes in Physicality and runs a Power RPO. His offensive philosophy has evolved over his time in college. He recruits the right players and develops. Amazing how many of his players at Temple were drafted. He has coached the O Line and D Line, knows the value of winning the war in the trenches.
