This is the only thing that makes sense .. If he was 2nd string at Oregon State, he'd be lucky to even sniff the backup role at a place like Ohio State ..

Frost drove out 3 QBs who ended up playing QB at a Power5 school:

-Gebbia - Oregon St Starter but mainly Back Up
-O'Brien - Colorado st Starter but Washington Back Up
-Vedral - Rutgers Starter

His first couple years coaching us we were stuck with crappy back ups and even started a Walk On. Good thing Frost ignored Burrows
