So do you think these close losses to ranked teams are going to help Frost save his job? Is he the guy that can't get it done or the guy that's close to turning it around?

Well, I know someone will come in with the "moral victory" shit, but being competitive in games like this actually is progress. Idk if it ultimately saves his job down the road or not, but I also don't believe he's gone this year anyway.
Except he lost to Illinois like fuckin 5 weeks ago ahhaahhahahaWell, I know someone will come in with the "moral victory" shit, but being competitive in games like this actually is progress. Noted. You ignored the point. But noted.Except he lost to Illinois like fuckin 5 weeks ago ahhaahhahaha
Not at all. He lost to Illinois in year 4 in berts first game. No other “moral victories” should be allowed.Noted. You ignored the point. But noted.
No. It’s. Not.That’s the outlier. Week zero game. We’ve played well in the other six games. I know we’ve lost, but the improvement has been plain as day. The fact that you have to go back to week zero to show me a poorly played game is proof that we continue to improve.
We have lost a lot of close games during Frost’s tenure. It’s a complete failure if we can’t make a bowl in year 4 with the talent we have. To me it’s a failure even to win 6 games with our current talent, but I believe Frost will be retained if we make a bowl. The four stages of a rebuild:
1. Lose big
2. Lose small <— you are here
3. Win small
4. Win big
I know everyone wanted to progress faster, but we are at stage 2. Frost had a great presser tonight. He didn’t seem beaten down at all. Praised the team and said multiple times that we are a good football team. And we are. I know the record isn’t what we want, but frost is going to get it done. Huge positive change in frosts demeanor the past few weeks. He knows we will get there, and after watching tonight’s presser I believe he’s been told by Turd he’s not getting fired. Just a hunch.
Glad we had a great presser. Gotta win those before winning football games at the game of football when you’re a football team trying to win football games. The four stages of a rebuild:

Our defense played well against MSU and Ou but the other two phases were complete garbage. Maybe the offense has turned the corner over the last two games. That’s the outlier. Week zero game. he has just looked healthier the past 2 weeks, too. Like he has actually been getting some sleep. The four stages of a rebuild:

You mean to tell me there hasn't been poor football played outside of the Illinois game? That’s the outlier. Week zero game. We’ve played well in the other six games. What fucking galaxy are you in?
If the offense truly turned the corner we win tonight, plain and simple. Until the HC quits tripping over his own dick, tonight's results are what we getOur defense played well against MSU and Ou but the other two phases were complete garbage.
