Frost And Davison On The Road Doing Interviews Today

I've been wondering this for a few weeks, but it's starting to look a little more obvious now. I doubt he was really looking during the season. A few calls maybe sure...but it wasn't planned by Scott. I don't buy that at all. The media either assumes he had something in place, or they cover for Scotty boy. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if they're covering for him.

Administration had to do something to keep their boy in place....so firing the offensive staff with a few games left was it. There had to be a sacrificial lamb. Had the administration let it play out after OSU...they knew 3-9 was possible. It would of got LOUD those last two weeks. Super hard to justify 3-9, so they got ahead of it. Can you imagine if no announcement would have been made until the end of the season? (the day after the Cockeyes game) Imagine the post game reaction after that meltdown! lol. But hey, good job administration....they really got the program moving in the right direction...

I believe Scott has done an excellent job in every area. It’s hard for the media to know, but what they’ve done off the field, and what they’ve done on the field. I think it’s well-documented.

I don't think it was Turd's call. It was TO and the old boys club's call. Turd came up with a creative way to appease all sides. No way Scott will be here in Nov
22 though.

I mean you couldn’t really “interview” anyone last week that still had games happening. You could guage interest & vet candidates . Now this week you can finally do official interviews for the guys that coached Saturday . I guarantee they have a direction in mind . Probably will offer an OC the job in the next day or 2 if it wasn’t already done today . People that think it should’ve been done already are crazy unless we were hiring someone that didn’t previously have a job & more games to play

I don’t completely agree with that last sentence. Does Davison have the delegated authority to say who gets hired? Absolutely not. However, if Scott didn’t want his input why even bring the guy along? I view Matt as being a part of the “Interview Panel” and Scott will consider his feedback but ultimately Scott makes the decision.
