Great question. Unlike football, there's not much to point to in basketball and say "we've got all of this going for us."

Basketball in ways should be easier to turn around. Facilities and everything along those lines are just as nice.

Biggest difference is NIL. I would imagine we don't compete well with even middle of the road P5 schools there.

The person that matters at FNBO is a HUGE Nebraska football fan. I don’t know his thoughts on basketball. FNBO court inside Pinnacle Bank Arena is funny for a few reasons though!

Would be nice if Nebraska can build a respectable program before Mac retires. Might be able to redirect some of that Omaha basketball money to Lincoln.

Majority got exactly who they wanted last time for both hoops and huthut. Both have not gone as planned.

Majority got what they wanted when Bo was hired, and subsequently got what they wanted when Bo was fired. Some just turned on Bo, scotch, and Timmy at different rates.
