I feel like they're really missing out on a big opportunity by announcing his arrival ahead of time. They should have had the new Herby run out onto the field, murder the old Herby, and then continue to sacrifice lil red at center field. After the sacrifice is complete, new Herby takes his mask off, and it's Frank solich screaming we're back while holding lil reds severed head to the sky. The crowd loses their minds and wrecks the stadium so that a new one can be built. Matt Rhule proceeds to win 10 national championships at Nebraska.

If Frank is back, Rhule needs to break out the Maryland I, have a few midline options, and the 11 Option Pass. That and the seedy bar Lance Brown owned (Studio 14?) should reopen for that weekend. Those are all great Solich era memories.

Regardless of that, I'm happy they're bringing Frank back. He deserves recognition for his time at NU.

NGL. When I saw that earlier, my eyes welled up. I had a feeling it would never happen. Already looking at air fare from SoCal. Haven’t been back to a spring game in almost 30 years but might do it this time. Most likely will be the last time to be in the stadium with Frank.
