Breaking Fitzgerald out at NW

Don’t care

Northwestern is worse off as a football program

Bunch of pervs
I get that Sun Tzu would approve (the enemy of my enemy is my friend) and this does weaken Northwestern, but I still don't care for the decision. It seems like their administration caved. With that said, I have NOT immersed myself in all of the allegations, so if they're truly sinister then you need a scapegoat. But based on what a lot of tPB members have commented on who HAVE read the tweets, it seems like pretty stupid stuff. Put a stop to it? Sure. Can the corch? Hmmmmm.

I'll say it: I think it's bullshit. Pat was the head corch, so the shit rolls uphill to his desk, but it appears that a handful of malcontents have skewed the narrative to the point where the "bundles of sticks" that ran the University felt like they HAD to make a change. Clearly the letter of support which, IIRC, was signed by EVERY current player wasn't enough to save his job. Cancel culture wins again, and that sucks IMO.
He was also 1-11 last year and staring at a optimistic 3 win season. I'm not sure anyone can do better than he did but maybe?

While I agree, a conference team just got worse - allegedly.

Watch them hire someone better LMAO
