Looking for places within driving distances of SE Nebraska.

We weren’t able to take a honeymoon so I was going to surprise the wife with a trip next summer for Christmas.

Probably looking for low key areas, cabins, lakes, fun dive bars, etc.

Wouldn’t the Ozarks-Branson be an easy spot?

Brother you're gonna have to define what "driving distance" means to you
Should’ve put that in there. I’d say max 8-9 hours. Northern Texas probably farthest south, Colorado/Wyoming west, South Dakota/Minnesota north, Illinois/western Kentucky/Tennessee east

I should put it out there as well. We are big into concerts maybe cool venues you’ve been to that I could find a show and plan around it

Beaver Lakefront Cabins on Beaver Lake near Eureka Springs, Ark. Adults only single cabins and some suites. Each cabin is somewhat secluded and all are set up with all you need except food and drink.

Common dock to use to swim, fishing room. Can rent pontoon. Eureka Springs is a cool little town and has summer events.

Been several times wife and I really enjoy it.

With what you describe. I.e. summer, dive bars, low key......I'd go Lake of the Ozarks.

Peepants is nice, but you'd have to go late July/early August. It also has a completely different feel. More upscale and stuffy when you start getting to the bigger lakes in northern Peepants.

Find a cabin that you can chill and start fires next to people chilling. Most great spots are open now with weather! Make sure you try anal with the old lady and she will never go back!

Not many outdoor concerts this late in the year.

Herman, MO has some vineyards that the little lady will like. German kinda feel and in the fall they do a huge OctoberFest. Cool chill area

Hot Springs, Ark is a relaxed beautiful area.

Roads are wild around there. Just crazy

Plus MtnHusker can intro you to group sex while you're there. Win/win/win
