Ex-Cockeye players demand firing of Ferentz

This^^^

AND

Why do we want him to be fired?

JMO but coaching stability is about the only thing that has kept that 8-4 program from becoming a 5-7 program. I mean, do you really see them making a splash hire? Only big name I could possibly see taking that job would be Bob Stoops and I’d put that at like .001% chance of happening. He ain’t coming out of retirement to resurrect that mess.

I’d take the gamble with a new coach. They’ve had very average recruiting classes, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon with the racial turmoil. Then you combine that with coaching instability and even possibly a coaching miss (like Mike Riley) and it could set that POS program back 5-10 years. I think firing Ferentz could be the straw that breaks their pathetic 8-4 back, and I think they know that too...

REALLY Good points.
I am perfectly happy with that scenario.
Also happy with them going 8-4 as long as we are 10-2 11-1 12-0.

I think it'll be a planned retirement/exit so Barta can take his time taking the temperature of coaches, and Kirk can keep his legacy.

If that happens, I could see the possibility of a minority coach hire. My hope is that whomever they hire sucks.
