===================

Emmett Johnson
Johnson was indispensable after Nebraska lost quarterback Dylan Raiola to a season-ending injury. He led all Power Four players with 1,821 all-purpose yards and paced the nation in carry rate, handling 65.2% of the Huskers' rushing attempts. Johnson was also the only Power Four player this season to record at least 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in the same game, piling up 232 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns against UCLA in Week 11.

Emmett Johnson
The old cliche that "He's just a football player" perfectly sums up Johnson, who can run, catch and protect the passer. He led all FBS players with an average of 151.8 all-purpose yards per game and led Nebraska in rushing (1,451 yards) and pass receptions (46). Johnson was the only Power 4 player this season to rush for more than 1,000 yards and have more than 300 receiving yards (370).

Could have had the best 1-2 punch in America if KeGone hadn't He Gone

Good work. I might have tried that but I wanted to ween myself off of the crutch that AI has been because I want all of you to like me so much.

Thanks for doing the hard work for me.

That can't be correct. Certainly we have had a 1st team AA since the early 1980's.
1st team Running Back is Mike Rozier. Crazy, but true.

Now, other positions is a completely different story.

That is crazy.

LP
Ameer
Ahman Green

Actually shocking to me.

Who would you take in your backfield? The three aforementioned or EJ?

I know who I wouldn't take. No insult to EJ. Being mentioned with those guys is props in itself.

For me...

1. Ahman Green
2. Ameer Abdullah
3. LP
4. EJ

Green was incredible

AA over LP is absurd IMO
LP had one great year, was surrounded by much better line talent. He was pretty great no doubt. I’d argue we all remember him great than he was given that he was on a team that won a Natty.

AA put together two amazing years with three in total with a line that didn’t have the same talent LP had.

In my mind, pound for pound, position only, AA edges out LP.
