Sign Up Now!I see a "possession" type of receiver, good hands, but he doesn't do anything "electric" with the ball in his hands to make defenders miss and break big plays. And this is against Sioux Falls, SD high school competition. Hopefully he continues to develop, but he appears to be the very definition of a good athlete yet NOT a game-changing difference maker. My $0.02 worth after watching that highlight film.
Looks like a 4 time Biletnikoff award winner to me. #GBR #NFMI see a "possession" type of receiver, good hands, but he doesn't do anything "electric" with the ball in his hands to make defenders miss and break big plays. I assume any highlights you're seeing of him were from his sophomore year, as he got hurt for the season in the first game this year. So he has plenty of time to mature as a player and athlete.I see a "possession" type of receiver, good hands, but he doesn't do anything "electric" with the ball in his hands to make defenders miss and break big plays. I added a "hope he continues to develop" disclaimer in my assessment, but we therefore are hoping that he'll improve in his senior year as he's lost his junior year due to injury. There's a REASON many of the ruthlessly managed top tier programs cut offers when a serious injury - like a busted knee - hinders the development of a player they want to invest in. It's OK to take an occasional flier on an athlete that takes your breath away when you watch him perform, but we've had a roster littered with these guys for the past decade or so. I'm not stating that this young man doesn't have potential, but accepting a scholarship offer from him under these circumstances is ... well ... interesting at best.I assume any highlights you're seeing of him were from his sophomore year, as he got hurt for the season in the first game this year. Yes it is. I hope he heals completely and becomes a star for us.Another Warrior-Husker!! The Minnehaha County mafia is still in the house. It's nice seeing my WHS all putting out players.
@LoudHogRider, one of his coaches told me he's electric. Broke his patella on the first play of the first game. That's some bad luck.
I hope he washes out spectacularly so I can point back to this thread and triumphantly proclaim that @LoudHogRider was right.Yes it is. I hope he heals completely and becomes a star for us.
It's been said that I put the "idiot" in "idiot savant". 🤷♂️I hope he washes out spectacularly so I can point back to this thread and triumphantly proclaim that @LoudHogRider was right.
Remember this kid was a sophomore last time he played. Still time to dominate.I hope I'm wrong but I don't like this take at all. He has good size and speed but that's it. He didn't dominate South Dakota competition like a D1 receiver should. I didn't like Randolph Kpai when we recruited him either because his production wasn't what it should have been. I hope I'm wrong.
That could be.Hadn't seen that on him were you thinking of hammerbeck?
