If they lose next week to lowa then they are likely 4-6 coming into our game. They can still beat us. If they miss a bowl game with all the money they spent on this roster to make a real run at a championship I could see them entertaining a buy out. But it’s $56m. Thats a lot of money to not be going to players to fire a coach who’s largely been successful outside of this year.

I don’t have a good reason to think this but I have a hunch a new QB will rejuvenate them some, they’ll beat lowa, and end up the year 7-5. They won’t fire him at 7-5, however they will likely restructure his contract, and he’ll donate money to the NIL group.

Yeah he's probably got a large enough buyout that they won't do anything drastic, but they've gotta be really mad about this season
