Does TJ Lateef give Nebraska a better chance to win than a healthy Dylan Raiola?

Great game by Lateef. Let’s hope we keep it up next two weeks.

Also I think a QB controversy will be good for Dylan. He needs some competition for the first time in his life.
I don’t see there being one either way. If Lateef plays poorly the next two games, Rhule will ride with Raiola. If Lateef plays well the next two games Rhule will either have to go with Lateef and pay him or let him or Raiola walk. You won’t have both qbs on the roster going forward next year under the last scenario. One will leave.

Raiola more talented than Lateef.

Lateef skill set fits Holgs offense better and Holgs clearly calls a better game based off the tools Lateef possesses as well as leaning on our elite RB more.

Because of that, I do think Lateef gives us a better chance at winning in the Bi1G.

Which part? The mobility? Accuracy? Sacks? Running ability? 😂😂😂😂 Big time tater post.

As long as we can ignore in any analysis of the question the fact UCLA was dead last in sacks, TFLs, and near the bottom in rush defense.

Happy TJ played well but the circumstances were absolutely idyllic for a freshman QB making his first start. Basically never played behind the chains and his playmakers made big plays

Thought TJ played awesome and he was so fun to watch. But I’m sure some will call you a hater for pointing that out.

He’s got a huge task ahead of him in the next two games. If he does well in those games, I’ll welcome a QB controversy.

I get the talk. It’s why message boards exist. So keep at it.

I’m happy with TJ’s play but don’t think the offensive game-plan was challenged by UCLA at all. It felt like we just went at them, shortened the game, and went home. But let’s see what we cook up in Happy Valley against an NFL defensive line. If he’s a difference maker in that game then I might entertain the conversation.
