Probably better for his long term prospectsSome how I think we’ll survive without Foley hitting every greasy spoon in Western Nebraska
Correct only 10 assistants can be on the road recruiting, but unlimited to how many can be hired and coaching.I thought there was an assistant limit in terms of how many could be on the road recruiting. I understand that analysts can coach on field, but they’re not allowed to do home visits correct?
There really is no difference between coachs and analysts any more. Everyone is a coach. And yes, you pick 10 of them to send out on the road as recruiters. Jamar Mozee and Keith Williams are not full time assistants (in the previous sense) but they are among the 10 we send out to recruit.I thought there was an assistant limit in terms of how many could be on the road recruiting. It says in the article you linked that Maher has been working with Huskers' special teams since before the season started:I brought this up in a previous thread, ST has improved since Brett Maher came onto staff.

The most credit goes to whoever fixed the long snappingIt says in the article you linked that Maher has been working with Huskers' special teams since before the season started:
"The Kearney native is back in his home state now, with a place on staff working with Nebraska's kickers since before the first game, offering some insights."
So I don't think all the credit can go to Maher since the special teams sucked until very recently.
Of course. They can't keep giving away 1-2 phases of the game and expect to win anything of noteI think a ST overhaul is still necessary.
Like he praised Satt?Rhule praised him in the presser so Mick's brother is probably going to be in town a while long.
I hope it goes the same way.Like he praised Satt?
No, I sure hope not. He needed fired 6 weeks ago.A few weeks ago, Foley was the worst ST coordinator in the country. But the last few games, there has been improvement.
Hohl is the kicker and crazy accurate now. So I assume long snapping, holding, and kicking got figured out a few weeks ago.
Barney over IGC on PR. That’s a positive adjustment. Also making him primary on KR was good.
Kickoffs are still a hit or miss on kicking and coverage, but it’s not losing us games.
If you’re putting money on it, is Foley staying around for next year?
