Came here to say this. Rhule was pretty clear in the postgame that specials were pretty pathetic this year and need to be started over from scratch. I’d be surprised if Foley keeps his position.

I didn’t love how conservative we went on that drive when we went 3 and out. But then to make it worse and give them a touchdown off a special teams fuck up was just awful.

This Nebraska team had no business not winning this game by 4 TDs. Giving them 9 points because we can’t do basic special teams shit has to be the last straw. Right?

They went 2 runs and then a pass on 3rd and 4 so idk that they went conservative. Seemed like they were right on schedule and BC just blew up the pass to Barney.

The drive before they came out throwing so seemed more like they were actually trying to go out and get more.

That said, yeah the 9 point swing on routine plays was yet again unacceptable.

Good weather in a real field, I think they probably win comfortably, but it was an ugly, pretty entertaining bowl game so I'm satisfied enough

Sadly, I doubt it will be the last straw. I think Rhule will probably figure a new LS and P will be good enough to keep Foley on welfare
