I was thinking the same thing. Defense seems to be very disciplined and tackles extremely well one on one in the open field. I haven’t seen that on our defense probably since 09.

it's kind of funny how all off-season a segment or our fanbase bitched about the 3-3-5 nonstop and after 2 games the defensive scheme looks like the most solid aspect of the entire program

I was thinking the same thing. Defense seems to be very disciplined and tackles extremely well one on one in the open field. I haven’t seen that on our defense probably since 09.

I'm sure live tackling in practice multiple times a week has really helped that. It has made a world of difference.
