I miss the days of seeing who we are doing in home visits with and if we are getting the last visit or seeing which coaches are scheduled to visit each recruit to lock things up. Just not a big deal anymore

It’s really not at all. High school recruiting is great and all. But it’s almost not good to be where a kid signs out of high school. The chances he finishes is career there are simply not incredible

I know I’m not the only one to say this, but I truly have never cared less about high school recruiting. I’m not saying it isn’t important. I’m just saying that it’s so tough to get into anymore.

90% of the kids never play a meaningful snap for the team they sign with out of high school

Update:

Well the story goes that JJ (John Jr) tried to get Rip and some of the branded men with the help of a couple buckle bunnies to go after that injun fella that they sold the ranch to.

Beth went off all half cocked (as women do) about it skipped out on Rip and now is shacked up with some cattle puncher on his spread east of Laramie.

Casey apparently went off the deep end and joined Blackwater. Last seen killing them towelheads in Afghanistan or so the story goes.
