Shitting on Mickey is not the way, Mickey got a rough hand, and made a turd a lot more shiny. Rhule is the right choice, but Mickey for his faults as his HC made a 1 win team a 4 win team.

I would’ve been fine with Mickey, and I think at this point we need to give up the pretense that we shouldn’t celebrate the small successes, but it is definitely a breath of fresh air to have some brand new blood injected into the program.

Mickey would’ve been like being told we’re going to Outback. Rhule is a trip to The Drover. Both would leave me filled…but one is leaps and bounds over the other. Nebraska has a LOT of chain restaurants…so that’s the kind of meal these taters are happy to swallow every time.

I always thought that giving Mickey a couple years with a lowish salary and incentives could have been an option but....well it's a fuckin gamble no matter what you do.
