Haven’t stopped in Daytona, but an hour and some change south of it you’ll run into Cocoa Beach and Melbourne which is our yearly stomping grounds. Have heard great things about The Cellar which is fine dining Italian, and the Dancing Avocado which I think more of your standard Florida seafood menu. Both of which would be family friendly and in Daytona Beach. It’s a beautiful coast line up and down. Daytona is known for being more crowded, and younger according to the hotel peeps where we stay.

Tour of the speedway is pretty cool. Besides the area around the speedway and along the beach, Daytona is hood af, so be prepared.

We’ll likely leave the beach area very little in all honesty. Kids love it. And I can sit and drink beer while enjoying the scenery.
