Yeah Tom Brady is really the only QB Mahomes compares to. Even Brady doesn't compare to some of his passing stats but part of that has to do with the change in the game.

Trading hill does not mean it’s a rebuild, they cashed in on a valuable asset. Ur WR room is Travis Kelce & basically 4 2nd round picks, not to mention Toney a 1st rounder who fell into ur lap. McDuffie & whatever the DE’s name, karakarhitis, are both first rounders. It’s easier to have a revolving door when ur foundation is a bunch of HOFers & ya can easily recruit ring chasers

Let's pump the breaks here boys. There are many different ways to build a roster. Chiefs have decided to build around the qb and have him win you games, along with a great coach. Bills basically rely on one player and it hasn't got them jack yet. Bengals basically drafted high for years and finally hit the jackpot. 49ers and eagles imo have the most complete roster in the NFL. Top to bottom just stars everywhere. In this day and age it comes down to qb play. What Im real interested in seeing is what the Lions ars doing by loading up the lines and pounding the ball. Basically asking the qb to manage the game. I personally like a coach with a proven system and build the roster to that. Just staying in the hunt and get rid of aging players with huge cap hits. Rookie deals get it done right now.

This year his cap was Kirk cousins range with 31 mil & next year it bumps to 46 compared to Watson’s 56 while the cap will continually climb with the NFL’s new TV deals. He really gave the chiefs a team friendly deal after 1 SB & the chiefs can restructure or push money whenever they want & then extend him if they use up their cushion.

Oh that contract when he signed it I was thinking it would fuck up the organization, but like you said as that cap goes up that contract really ages well.

The chiefs killed the last two drafts and that is what helps a ton in this discussion.
