Are we related? My brother and I seem to be the only people that piss our ladies off as much as you do.

It’s possible... I have 3 brothers (2 not of marrying age) and 2 step brothers. She was seriously pissed at me last Thursday night/all day Friday when I had heard enough about the damn rowers. Made watching the game a lot easier, though!

Well, we're not brothers since I only have two. Maybe cousins or something. I only wish when I pissed her off that it meant she left me alone. Quite the opposite.

Wasn't a ton of options under 1k. Brother is manager of the handgun department. Said the Caniks are a good value.

If it fits her hand and she can hit what she's aiming at, then it was a good decision. I've seen the Caniks around, but never held nor shot one so I can't offer any insight there.

Mrs. LHR gave up her revolver last year due to a touch of RA in her hands. She had a hard time pulling the trigger in DA mode. We tried a few guns at the range, and she gravitated straight to the S&W M&P EZ 380 (it's now available in 9mm, too). Very easy for her to operate (chamber a round, reload, etc.) and she's frightfully accurate at 15 yards with it. I put both a big dot fiber optic front sight AND a very bright Streamlight flashlight w/green laser on it so she's fresh out of excuses for not being able to acquire the target.

The dang price of ammo makes plinking a pricey exercise these days, but its really important to get the practice time in for her to familiarize and get comfortable with her new firearm. Happy shooting!
