CT back?

I can't think of a single team in the B1G that has had that situation since NU joined the conference, but I do agree it is ideal.

Perhaps a lot of B1G teams had two sub-par starter-level QBs, and then there was the case of Braxton Miller vs Joe Bauserman.

Managing two starter-level QBs these days will be much more difficult for any coach.

tOSU in 2014 is the only team. Maybe Michigan last year.

MMMMMM wow good. Love readin these posts before bedtime. Makes me sleep and shit my brains better. Thank you!

I thought for a moment you were arguing with me rather than giving a data point to agree with me.

Cardale Vs JT is one of the only examples that makes that QB1a and QB1b scenario work in the transfer portal era, unless you use two QBs on the field at the same time ala Montana State this year.

When one of those two gets hurt, you get trounced in the FCS semi-final game.

wasn't Cardale actually the #3? I thought Braxton Miller started that year as #1 and got hurt

I suspect our views on the quality of back up QBs is skewed by a couple decades of back up QBs lighting NU up

Correct, Cardale was third string.
