They don't make many mistakes though. That part is impressive. They had a lot of stupid penalties but only 1 turnover/game with a lot of snaps.

Agree with this. Our defense playing lights out. Eventually they wear down from all the turn overs and complete lack of help from the other side of the ball.

This is all about penalties and turnovers. We actually ran the ball really well in the first half as it got going. You just can’t keep up with the penalties and turnovers. Bottom line.

College QBs just have to be smart enough to throw to the open WR. Our OL is still trash thanks to uncle Donnie. Players love the guy but the left side of our line can’t even get hands on their assignments. Idk why we’re trying to run this offense with simms when we should be using him as a RB 80% of the time

I honestly think that would be a fantastic choice. We're about to drop some insane money on stadium renovations. What do you think he could do with that recruiting pitch in addition to what he can already do. Seriously just make sure he's always chasing the best coordinators and not his friends ala frost. We'd be an overnight powerhouse.

Urban Deion and Lane are probably the only coaches with enough immediate clout to flip the program on a dime.

Wherever Deion goes he's going to set the gold standard for managing young men that all suddenly have access to money. He's going to be one of the only head coaches with the clout and experience that can guide these kids effectively. He seems to be going about it the right way too and cares about them. Hiring a "nebraska way" guy is so archaic. That's why the coaches that fit the mold are all underwhelming hires. Deion could be the new "Nebraska way." We could continue our alleged mission of building quality young men.

Doubt we'll do that, and hire a dinosaur.

That would be fine with me too. I believe strongly in Deion as a successful P5 coach too. Dude would be an NIL/recruiting cheat code.

CU about to waltz in and snag Deion with minimal effort while we cant decide between 5-6 mediocre coaches.
