Colorado Sneaking in Week 0

if we open the season with a loss to minny, i think a lot of fans might sit that one out...

on the other hand if we beat minny, i could see the CU game being at least 50% red

probably on the road since ASU played in Boulder last year.

Nothing says football weather like Tempe, AZ in late August

Gotta stay hydrated out there!

Scheduling Arizona St Week 0. Wondering if it’s at home where they don’t have to worry about Husker fans taking over Boulder in his first home game.
Gonna have to be a late game - can’t imagine the heat in Tempe in August

I'm struggling to understand the Colorado hype...yes they've added some good players in the portal, but their roster was absolutely pitiful before Deion got there and I don't think they've made up that much ground. Preseason top-25? The Pac-12 could actually be a pretty good conference next year with USC, UDub, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, and Utah all top-25 caliber teams. I think they are going to limp to a 4-win season.

late August is still during monsoon season, so in addition to the heat it can easily be a LOT more humid than what they're used to in CO. that time of year the overnight low will be 85-90 and it can easily be 100+ all the way until midnight. ASU is also near Tempe town lake, so it's the most humid place in the valley

It's a social media sugar high on the Deion hype. Even with the good players they've added, the foundation they have is a weak one. Deion may turn out to be a good coach but he's inherited something very bad.

No way they are Top 25 and I'd expect it to be a challenging season for him.

I’ve seen ONE publication (LA Times with a Pac12-lean) put them at #25…..am I missing out on a bunch of other tards?

I think it’s a lot of click bait by the media companies covering recruiting and the Buffs in general. They know people will love to argue that CU shouldn’t be this or that. Buuuut it’s Deon and people are going to pay attention to make them money on clicks.

The craziest thing I’ve seen was putting his son as a Heisman favorite.

No shit...
Utah - returning QB
Oregon - returning QB
USC - returning Heisman QB
Washington - returning QB
Washington St - returning QB
Oregon St - Clemson QB coming over
That great Kent St offense that hired his OC & OL coach from. Their QB is now at UCLA.

You better bring all the DBs to every game next year

Colorado next year:
@ TCU
Nebraska
Colorado St (not a gimme)
@ Arizona St (Possibly week 0)
Arizona
@ Oregon St
Stanford
USC
@ Oregon St
@ UCLA
@ Utah
@ Washington St

The conference game dates arent settled. But damn 6 of 9 conference games on the road and one of your home conference games is USC. You have to go to TCU and your other 2 non cons are two old rivals that hate you. Brutal schedule for Colorado next year.

Legitimately Nebraska is probably a bottom 3 or 4 game on their schedule as far as how tough it is.

@ TCU, @ Oregon St, @ UCLA, @ Utah, @ UCLA, @ Washington St, USC all tougher games. Arizona possibly a tougher game as well.

On the evening news tonight here in Phoenix, they were talking about this. They claimed that both Colorado and ASU had top classes because of the portal.

They had an interview with Prime. We was claiming that TCU was their opener but hinted that might be changed to ASU.
