They're really gonna give a top on-field coaching job & recruiting duties to a guy who can't be trusted to show up on time, make a phone call, or be in contact with his staff?

The spot for a smart, dysfunctional guy to contribute/rehabilitate is as an analyst, and it would be shocking to me if a P5 team gambled on making him more than that the first year.
