No clue, just wondering what kind of transfer he would've been eligibility-wise. I think he's got good measurables and will develop well under Rhule.

Butler might be one of the few examples we have of someone developing under the Frost administration. Came here as an athletic but raw player who had only played one year of football. Didn't play at all as a true freshman, saw a handful of snaps his second year and played in every game and got some serious minutes his third year.

Glad we weren't developing him for someone else.

I didn't they he looked horrible when they asked him to cover when he was in this year. He's obviously a down lineman for Rhule but he's pretty athletic which bodes well

Ehhh...playing isn't the same as being developed. Mosai Newsom was playing for chrissakes and I sure as hell wouldn't describe him as someone that got "developed"
