He was a terrible fit culturally for Auburn. But he was also like their 5th choice. Coaches don't want to go there. Guz Malzahn was literally in the top 10, five out of 6 seasons, and he even beat Bama... But they fired him.

Malzahn was really good at Auburn. People say the NU fans have high expectations, but I would say Auburn is the worst. They expect the be on par with Alabama. Maybe they will get Urbs?

I didn't really follow Malzahn. Sounds like he kinda got a raw deal. I seem to remember he has never had a losing season as a college coach and was known for his high powered offenses. Can we really hire another UCF coach? Should he be someone we are considering?

How crazy would it be if Auburn went after Prime Time? Heck I'm starting to wonder if we struck out on enough coaches that I wouldn't rather have Prime Time over the Plan B's like Leipold, Campbell & Mickey. You know he would knock it out of the park with recruiting and exposure. Break open the check book for top line OC & DC then hire some bad ass Asst Coaches who can recruit their asses off. He has more bling than the entire state of Nebraska

I don't either as he sure would seem like a Square Peg in a Round Hole with most Nebraskans. But if we don't get a big name coach I wouldn't be against it even though some of it is just a bit of a publicity stunt. We need a splash hire before we get left in the dust of the College Football World
