Braden Frager Is Good At Basketball

Third time this year he has been named the B1G FOTW
There have to be crazy amounts of tampering going on with him right now
Gotta think we take care of him $ wise next year being from Lincoln and with his impact to date. He is going to be absurdly marketable here IMO.
HAS to be. Kid is so damn good. They will have to pay up to keep him if he doesn't go pro.
Is this a real possibility? I love Frager but think he would be way better off coming back another year and becoming THE man.
I am often confused by the NBA draft though.
BTW, I love how tPB is slowly morphing into more of a basketball board due to how incredible nebrasketball is coupled with what a tire fire the football program is. It is refreshing logging onto here and seeing all good news on bball and the football team barely on page 1.
NBA drafts on youth. Stats matter much less than potential based on frame, athleticism and shot making.
That's what I mean. It makes it hard to predict when I don't know who half the 1st rounders are during the season. European or freshman that play 10 min a game that you didn't even notice while watching them.
Other than the KU freshman I can't even think of any bona fide 1st rounders.
DJ from BYU, Boozer from Duke...there are others, but I get your point.
Frager has to ask himself if he wants to get drafted or if he wants to play in the NBA, imo
NBA is weird. He's 6'6, athletic as hell and has shot making ability and he's what 19 or 20? I think NBA will give him a look. I'm not saying he's Christian Braun but...why can't he be?

Pretty comparable. Braun was only at KU for two years. This is essentially Frager's second year at NU.
One of those better lessons on recruiting ...... Frager seems destined at this point to become an NBA drafted player eventually if not now. Yet his recruiting was no where near as loud and as enthusiastic on any level outside of this state, as many recent NU recruits have been. Braden was a .88 3* star recruit.
