They should've sent Rutgers here... We should be playing KSU in Phoenix. How could the Rate bowl choose possibly Rutgers...or were they forced to? I can see no scenarIo where the Pinstripe Bowl or the Rate bowl would get more money from these matchups.

im sure they are expecting a half decent crowd, so technically you could be choosers in the future by low attendance. Maybe we can just meet Adrian and Frost in the middle and elect the 15 bowl practices?

Won't be this guy, but makes me wonder how long it's going to be before low-demand guys opting out of their bowl games to jump in the portal will get picked up by their bowl game opponent to get signs, inside intel, etc., then portal again in the spring.

Especially for playoff teams, offering a one-time, up-front NIL payment to get some intel like that is probably a good bargain for both sides.
