Simply right place at the right time, but I’d like to think that my eloquent words….and my wife’s tight-fitting shirt/hard nips truly sealed the deal for ole Wags?

I genuinely believe the hard nips convinced him that the FUCKING FREEZING COLD weather he found himself in during that trip had some upside?

Plus, I was glad my kids didn’t barf, or cry, in front of him, and my mom sold his wife on the solid pickleball community in Lincoln.

I hate to take too much credit…..buuuut had he not met us, and not gotten the leaning tower recommendation, I think he stays in Texas.

My wife definitely doesn’t have a large rack, but she’s undeniably sexy (unless big ole’s are a requirement)…..and she was nipping out so hard in Isles that I was a little uncomfortable that my parents were there haha.

Hope Wags doesn’t come after her.




PS - YES, we are kind of a hippy couple and decided to not do rings at all haha. Waste of money, and we trust each other….and I hate wearing rings and watches, so we got rubber ones but I couldn’t stand it haha.

Pure, dumb, luck……but even back in the day when we had true insiders posting frequently, I think this one would’ve flown under the radar?

New corch. No Nebraska ties (thank god). Plus, I HAVE to think they enjoyed the Isles more than they would have Misty’s (where they intended to go).

Outside of the Husker memorabilia and lore….Isles is a way better meal, these days, and a much better price.

I honestly thought the bitter cold and lingering snow might turn off his family so much that it wouldn’t happen? That was a shitty night to arrive to town the first time.

I’m guessing the stadium/Haymarket/campus was a very pleasant surprise for the Wags in the morning? Nothing against Isles AT ALL (and I’m sure they know dives often have the best food), buuuut that’s definitely not the first place I’d take someone considering a huge life change if that change was moving to Lincoln haha.

So glad the hire went through. I would’ve felt a bit guilty in the back of my mind forever had it not (and I truly do think he’s a great hire….so if his replacement sucked, I would’ve felt terrible for sharing).

Haha, was truly fun to have some inside info for once!

The family had literally been in Nebraska for less than 2 hours at that point (flew into Omaha and went straight to Lincoln to eat), so I KNEW I had something breaking for the NU faithful.

I’ll attempt to befriend him and claim that this “Lonny Boysen” character was at the other table he talked to at Isles…..🥸
