Obviously haven’t watched MR presser yet OP.

I was surprised he was not happy with the tackling. Looked pretty darn good to me.

We about got burned 2 times and got away with it. That concerns me more than tackling.

My guess is Tone will interview for HC jobs and leave if he finds one he likes. I don't know that we will be good enough for that yet though
I would think most AD's will want one more year of consistency, to make sure it's not a fluke.

Probably. I think a lot of the length of White's tenure at Nebraska will be determined by whether he's a guy who just wants to be a HC or a guy who wants to get a great job. Some guys take the path of moving up ASAP, others are more selective and hold out until they have enough credibility to get a really good job, e.g. Venables.

So we have learned that 5 years of 2 Handed Touch in practice may have been part of the reason for our tackling issues in the past? I'm stoked about what the D brings this season. Swarming to the ball with solid tackling. Even players like LB Nick Henrich who looked slow last season appear to be playing much faster. Great seeing all of the Freshman who are able to positively contribute in this defense after only a short time on campus. If our offense is able to match the defense's intensity & execution next season we could see a very salty team on the field.
