Saw Macho Man plying his wares in Memphis before he went to the WWE. That circuit had him, Jerry Lawler, Jimmy "the Mouth of the South" Hart among others. He was a heel and at one point turned and allied with Lawler and they kicked the shit out of somebody.
The "reporter" asked him afterward what happened to make him help Lawler and he said, "I don't remember doin' it, but I did remember doin' it when I did it."
