That’s apparently a thing?

I think Nebraska has played a few Friday nights over the last couple years. Out at Buttgers under interim head coach/exonerated alleged wife choker Mickey Joseph
That game was pretty damn fun. I was in Philly for work and it wasn’t too bad of a drive up to Piscataway.

FWIW their stadium was very full and the fans there couldn’t have been any cooler.

It's been a thing since like 2017, except the games were on FS1 or BTN instead of Fox. I’m pretty sure Eichorst originally said that Nebraska would be open to hosting some and he got a ton of pushback. Not sure if he eventually came out and said Nebraska would not host, or if it wasn’t until Moos was hired and he said NU wouldn’t host them.

A lot of the big brands flat out told the Big Ten and Fox they would not host Friday night games. OSU, Michigan, PSU, Michigan State, and Wisconsin all for sure said they would refuse to host them. And pretty much only Purdue, Illinois, Rutgers, and like Maryland have had the Friday night home games.

What will be interesting is if Fox is able to force the bigger brands into hosting. It probably wouldn’t be anything new for the former Pac-12 schools to have them, in addition to the 4 mentioned above, as the Pac-12 has had a lot of those games with even their bigger brands. The new TV deal has already been able to force some of the schools that refused November night games into playing them, so the TV deal may be able to force them into hosting these Friday night games too.

Nebraska, Ohio State, and Michigan all told the Big Ten that they weren't interested in hosting Friday night home games. But they have ZERO ability to say no to Big Ten road games.

I'm also not sure they can even say NO to Big Ten home games on Friday nights anymore as well. The amount of money coming in is insane.

I'm not a fan of the idea, but if Nebraska were to play a team like Wisconsin on a Friday night in late November, I wouldn't complain as most high school football is done by then.

It's funny how some Big Ten teams want to be a whore for money but don't want to get fucked aka play Fridays. Why do you idiots think the conference with the worst offenses in major college football makes the most money? Because their overlords make them do unsavory things like play Fridays or EXCLUSIVE on The Cock

Dean said on his podcast that because of our road games all being homecomings we’re gonna get forced into one of these gay fucking Friday night home games

Home teams get to choose their Homecoming game time. Is he saying someone is going to choose Firday night for their homecoming?

he's saying that since our road opponents will all chose saturday start times for their homecoming games, we'll have to play one of our home games on a friday
