For your personal tastes, what are your top 5 songs of all time? Maybe not necessarily your personal favorites, but songs that you think are just perfect or never skip over.

In no particular order:
- Take Me Home, Country Roads - John Denver
- The Gambler - Kenny Rogers
- Beat It - Michael Jackson
- In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins
- Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

I met a guy in a bar one time that claimed to have written the world's greatest love song. He was all pissy and moany because no one would record it.

I was a little skeptical, so I asked him if he could sit down at the piano and play it. (yes, it was one of those bars that had a stage and piano)

He proceeded to play the song, and I'll be damned if it wasn't the most beautiful love song I had ever heard. I was just astounded that no one would record this song. I told him to keep pitching this song to recording artists and surely someone would record it. I asked him what the title of the song was so I could look for it when it got recorded.

He said, "I call it I Love You So Fucking Much, I Could Just Shit".

Just one - goat country and western song-

I can really only think of 3 but I usually rotate between country, 2000s rap, and metal. Depends on the day and my mood.

1. Drive- Alan Jackson
2. Sing for the Moment-Eminem
3. Before I Forget- Slipknot

All 3 hit the spot depending on that day, and I never hit skip. Simple yet complex layers that are all worded perfectly with the perfectly matching background music

Fast Car - Tracy Chapman (single most heartfelt song about a girl not growing up to become her mother)
Linger - The Cranberries
Somebody That I Used to Know - Gotye (guy is upset that his girlfriend broke up with him because she caught him talking to his ex)
The Zephyr Song - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Holy Diver - Dio (maybe the best guitar solo ever)
Amarillo by Morning - George Strait
Neon Moon - Brooks & Dunn
Holy Wars - Megadeth (somehow Dave Mustaine was able to describe the situation perfectly while rocking)
November Rain - Guns & Roses

Anything from the first 4 Albums of Metallica ....(just hit play and shut the fuck up)

Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper (an immense talent that few people took seriously at the time)
Beautiful Disaster - 311
All Apologies - Nirvana
Jeremy - Pearl Jam
Someone Like You - Adele
Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen (probably the riskiest gamble in music to become a legendary hit)
Mr. Brightside - The Killers
Looks That Kill - Motley Crue

The entire Alice In Chains MTV Unplugged...(the greatest performance from a band you least expected it from)

Islands In the Stream - Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers
I Miss You - Blink 182
Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus
Don't Stop Believing - Journey
Boys Don't Cry - The Cure

Anything that involves Annie Lennox

That's enough for now
