I found it on YouTube. Not the best recording, but I remember this played on the radio in the late '80s.

A few other fun ones:

I dont think id call it the best song but Killshot by Em has been playing in my head on repeat for about two weeks now

Best Rap song of all-time is one of the hardest lists to make. Growing up in the late 90s with 15s in the trunk, I bumped a lot of these.

No particular order and I'm forgetting a ton.

I know Crossroads was their most succesful song, but Eternal is a better rap song.

I'm not the biggest rap/hip hop fan, but I'd call this my favorite:

As an 80s/90s kid I got to give a shout out to Vanilla Ice. You know during Ninja Rap while watching TMNT 2 you were on your feet.

The soundtrack from the movie Mid 90s is pretty good. Jonah Hill made the movie and spent a lot of time on the music. If I want to listen to Rappists rap I just listen to that soundtrack.

Crossroads
Hypnotize me
Raise up
Haven’t went through thread so I’m sure double mention

Probably my favorite beat ever... just happens to be over a Lil B song.

Not trolling -

Only thing I can think of that's close is Story of Adidon, but 6 min w/ three beat switches is stupid
Impact wise you could argue Hit em Up also, even though the lyrics are much simpler and straight forward.
