There's a little nuance here.

They want to use some tax payer funded money to pay off some of these settlements instead of athletic department money.

The state auditor is saying no to that unless Barta is removed.

Which is awesome. We need more of this in government.

While I agree with your sentiment, they should fire Barta and use zero taxpayer money. Should all come from the university!
