San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights On3 Industry five-star athlete Michael Terry III returned to Nebraska this week for a two-day visit.
It was Terry’s first time in Lincoln since taking his official in April for the Huskers spring game.
“So much change in the short period of time,” Terry told On3. “The facilities are past awesome.”
Receivers coach Garret McGuire has been leading the charge in recruiting the 6-foot-2 1/2, 211-pound Terry to Nebraska. Head coach Matt Rhule is always involved.
“I’m starting to believe Coach is an over-achiever but in a positive way,” Terry said. “They have no other choice but to get better. The changes he’s making to the program is great. Coach is turning that whole program into something different all the way from workouts to eating schedule and meal planning.
“Everything thing is NFL style.”
Nebraska is battling Texas and Oregon to sign Terry who ranks as the On3 Industry’s No. 28 prospect regardless of position. He visited all three in the last week with the Huskers getting to make the final impression.
Terry enjoyed watching the Nebraska team compete in camp.
“Practice was pretty cool,” Terry said. “They made it hard but fun competing in drills.”
Terry liked the vibe around the players as well.
“They’re super happy!” Terry said. “It’s a different feel around there.”
Terry will now unpack the the three trips and perhaps make a decision before his senior season.
“They’re all great.
“Getting back talking thing over with my parents and coach,” he said. “But most importantly getting ready to focus on practice.”

Glad to see they are including the females in the campus visits....a key component to recruiting. At first I thought it was Harper Murray, but it's actually Raiola's sister.
