I was at the Navy/Notre Dame game when Mavy broke the streak. My wife was a midshipman at the time and her family are all Golden Domers.

I saw with her Uncle in the Notre Dame alumni section and was in that corner of the endzone when we finally ended the streak.

I salute ANY football recruit that chooses to go to a service academy over other D1 offers. You cannot redshirt and you basically have a 0.0001% chance at making the NFL. I know they will be set up great for the rest of their lives, but for someone with dreams of making it to the NFL it's gotta be a little tough mentally.
