I downloaded it yesterday and put it on my media server.

No spoilers, but:
Dragons = 15/10
Boobs = 0/10
Episode = 9.5/10

It didn’t feel like a season finale. Felt like an episode 9. With that said, it was a great episode.

non spoiler rankings in my opinion:

House of the Dragon: 7.8 / 10 (could get bumped up over 8 if they nail the landing and leave us dying for the next season like GoT did in it’s prime)




Rings of Power: 2.0 / 10 - the only positive of this show is at times it looks good, but since they spent $250,000,000 for 8 episodes I’d hope that was the case. Acting is fine for most of the cast. Everything else sucks. Plot, dialogue, style (they keep changing it, like finale had a random title card scene like they forgot to edit it out) the breaking of what Tolkien actual wrote was so severe that I don’t see how they get a second season. Truly the most expensive TV failure of all time but it’s not like Amazon needs the money or even cares. They are failing at Thursday night football too and DGAF.

Like Rings of Power about the time things finally started to get interesting it was the season finale. Has anyone heard when season 2 will start? I saw that Rings of Power won't be until sometime in 2024.

HotD season 2? Around 2024 as well. I think two years every season is about right.

Not sure if they’re aiming for Jon Snow sequel for 2023 or 2025.

think Aemon got off the hook somewhat compared to the book, he went from completely intending to kill Luke to it being an accident. Not sure how I feel with the dragon hit and miss under control, don’t remember that during the dance in the book.

They didn’t approve season 2 until after the premiere. I think they wanted the audience feedbacks, ratings, and view numbers before spending the money on the next filming, which already put production behind.

I actually think it was a good cutoff. You know war is coming (as if you didn't already).

The alternative was to start the war and end the season at some random point.
